Masarang in Indonesia has around 40 people working to keep the projects running and make them successful. These are almost all local residents with the right knowledge, experience and passion for nature.
Through hard work and their abilities they succeed to achieve great result while working in difficult conditions with minimal resources. No fewer than three employees have received the highest environmental award from Indonesia, the Kalpataru, handed out by the president.
